What I do at Aspire.
I started with Aspire as a counseling intern in 2022. After a year interning with Aspire, I started working as Aspire’s intake coordinator where I was the first line of contact for future clients, then transitioned to an Administrative Assistant helping with chart audits. As of April 2024, I have been working at Aspire as full-time Mental Health Counselor. During my time with Aspire I have helped with the Free Markets and aided in organizing the donated items.
Why I became a Therapist.
I became a counselor because I wanted to help people recognize their worth and encourage them to continue moving forward to promote their well-being and reach their goals.
Why I chose to work at Aspire.
Aspire Wellness Center definitely lived up to their name. As a student intern, Aspire definitely helped inspire my hope of becoming a licensed therapist. They encouraged me to move forward in my career/passion aspirations.
My Hobbies and Interests.
I am currently a Sunday School teacher and my family is currently constructing an international Headstart in Nigeria, where I get to utilize my skills and interests in program organization and art/creative projects.
