What I do at Aspire.
I have been at Aspire since December 2020. I am a licensed clinical social worker, who sees clients for individual therapy. I work with adults 18 and up. In the past, I have contributed to facilitating trainings and creating internal training manuals for new hires.
Why I became a Therapist.
I took a sociology course my freshman year of college, which inspired me to change my major and learn more about social work and counseling. My college advisors were both social workers who ran their own therapy practices and this lead me to my masters of social work.
Why I chose to work at Aspire.
Aspire is a wonderful place to work! Initially, I was drawn to the convenient location, but after meeting with Kim M. and Amber, I knew this was the right fit. What truly sets Aspire apart is the sense of equality—our directors understand and engage in the same work we do as therapists, creating a supportive and balanced environment. I feel genuinely valued by my colleagues, directors, and staff. There's a shared dedication to our clients and the community we serve, and the competitive pay is an added bonus.
My Hobbies and Interests.
I enjoy hanging out with my cats, going to concerts, traveling, playing video games, and hiking.
