What I do at Aspire.
I have been with Aspire since 2022 as one of the providers in the medical department. I am still learning, and hope to contribute more in the future.
Why I became a Doctor/Nurse.
The stigma surrounding mental illness and the quality of care that individuals received in the past was one of my driving forces to becoming a PMHNP. I felt that this group of patients was often overlooked, and the growing shortage of providers only worsened the crisis. In many communities, medical illnesses evoke empathy, yet mental health conditions are met with stigma and misunderstanding. My goal is to continue advocating for change—through education and direct care—challenging the misconception that mental health disorders define a person as "crazy." Like any other illness, they require compassion, treatment, and support.
Why I chose to work at Aspire.
A supportive working environment is important to me, and Aspire has that. Patients are not just a number, Aspire has providers who truly provide the quality care that patients deserve.
